Diabetes Type 2 - Late Onset Diabetes

Happened on 18 November 2007  | ( 0 ) Comments

Late onset diabetes. Usually caused by the cells of the body being resistant to insulin, causing too much sugar in the blood. Sorbitol in the blood then can cause diabetic cataracts and neurological sequelae such as peripheral nerve damage.

The long term effects may be greatly reduced by supplementing with antioxidants and herbs and minerals that play a part in helping the body to regulate blood glucose levels

Remedies that we use in our clinic include:

Golden Seal and Juniper Combination contains 14 herbs that support the pancreas
The cactus Nopal is known to have blood sugar handling properties
GTF Chromium an important factor that is involved in glucose regulation in the body
