Could Your Health Problem be Caused by a Virus?

Happened on 9 November 2008  | ( 1 ) Comments

Viruses consist of an inner core (genome) of nucleic acid (DNA or RNA) surrounded by a protein shell (the capsid). They invade the cytoplasm of the host’s cells and then replicate using the raw materials belonging to the host cells. The newly formed virus particles are then released in large numbers and the host calls are left damaged or destroyed, and it is this cellular damage plus the host’s immune response that gives rise to signs and symptoms of viral infection. Sometimes the nucleus of the hosts cell is invaded, and this may cause the cell to become cancerous. (Viruses are implicated in some types of leukemia, Burkitts lymphoma, nasopharyngeal cancer, T-cell lymphoma, liver cancer and cervical cancer).

Viruses are causally involved in a wide array of human pathology, as the following listing shows:

RNA viruses:

Polloviruses (pharyngitis, gastroenteritis, poliomyelitis)
Coxsackle viruses (gastroenteritis, respiratory tract disease, cardiomyopathies, 40% of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E) cases)
Echo viruses (upper respiratory tract disease, gastroenteritis, cardiomyopathies, meningitis)
Rhinoviruses (common cold)
Hepatitis A virus (infectious hepatitis)
Reoviruses (respiratory tract disease, diarrhoea)
Arboviruses (arthropod – borne viruses) (yellow fever, dengue)
Myxo and paramyxoviruses (influenza, mumps, measles, rubella
Rhabdoviruses (rabies)
Coronaviruses (common cold)
Arenoviruses (Lassa fever, German measles, rubella)
Retroviruses (Human Immunodeficiency Virus HIV)

DNA viruses:

Papaovaviruses (Human papillomavirus (HPV) – warts, benign neoplasms; HPV16 & HPV18
– cervical cancer)
Adenoviruses (Respiratory tract and eye infections)
Herpes viruses
(Herpes simplex 1 (HSV-1) (Herpesvirus hominis 1, HVH-1) – oral lesions
(Herpes simples 2 (HSV-2) (Herpesvirus hominis 2, HVH-2) – genital lesions,
cervical cancer
Varicella-Zoster (VZV) – chicken pox (varicella), shingles
Epstein-Barr (EBV) – Burkitt’s lymphoma, nasopharyngeal cancer, infectious mononucleosis (glandular fever), chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) (25% of ME cases)
Cytomegalovirus (CMV) – mononucleosis – like syndromes, birth defects
Poxviruses (smallpox (variola), molluscum contagiosum)
Hepatitis B virus (serum hepatitis, liver cancer)

According to Dr Schimmel, the originator of Vega testing, the prevalence of viral infections is grossly underestimated (although even orthodoxy recognizes that the average Westerner contracts more than 200 viral infections in a lifetime), and he believes that as many as 80% of patients are infected. He finds the organs that most commonly harbour infections include the colon, kidneys, liver, billary tract, pancreas, spleen, sinuses, and central nervous system. Dr Schimmel has found that immune deficiencies rapidly disappear after successful antiviral therapy, and this is presumably why he has also found that allergies (both food and inhalant) and malignancies disappear or substantially improve after antiviral therapy. In addition to the better known manifestations.

Listed below are a few of the many natural herbal remedies that we have found successful in upregulating the immune system so that it can deal with such viruses. These are just a few of the remedies that we use that we have found effective.
