Nausea - Feeling Sickposted on 22 November 2007 | posted in Health TipsObviously, the cause of the nausea is best addressed. However for relief of symptoms, ginger is very effective. You can take some fresh ginger root that you can buy from the supermarkets, peel and chop about 1" and pour hot water onto it. Leave for 5 - 10 minutes and drink. It not only is a refreshing drink, but it's great for settling an upset stomach. It's also great to take if you're pregnant and suffering from morning sickness. If nausea is due to a 'stomach bug', taking ginger can relieve symptoms within 4 hours. Also try taking Liquid Chlorophyll, a very powerful but gentle 'disinfectant' for the digestive system. This can help destroy the organisms responsible for the attack. It also helps liver function. Liquid Chlorophyll is also very good for the effects of too much alcohol. The best way to prevent a hangover is to drink Liquid Chlorophyll after having alcohol, however you can take it the following morning to help the after effects!
