Increasing essential fatty acids really works well here. Omega 6 found in avocados and grains, Omega 3 from flaxseed oil and walnut oil. Or take supplement your diet with the nutrients below on a long term basis. You will need to persevere for at least 6 weeks before noticable benefits are felt. Try Nature's Sunshine Omega 3 EPA. This supplement is free from PCB's and other pollutants that can contaminate fish.

Zinc deficiency can also be attributed to dry eyes. Taking zinc can help people whose eyes feel dry when wearing contact lenses.
