Avoiding Contracting MRSA in Hospitalposted on 8 November 2005 | posted in Health ArticlesThere has been a lot of publicity about how anyone who needs hospital treatment can help prevent catching the dreaded MSRA bug. Advice given consists of nurses, doctors or other healthcare workers have washed their hands before any physical contact. Research has been conducted by scientists in Rio de Janeiro, which highlighted Pau D`Arco (also known as Lapacho) as the most promising of 14 traditional plants that were investigated, prompting the scientists to say that it could be used to treat antibiotic-resistant hospital super bugs such as MRSA. It is suggested that Pau D`Arco (Lapacho) could have a role to play in protecting hospital patients and staff from these infections. Style Magazine, Sunday Times August 2005 When we are in hospital, we are already know that we are bound to be in a weakened state in the first place and our immune system is low. If you know that you are going into hospital, ensure that your immune system is as good as you can get it. Start, if possible 3-4 weeks before you go in with the following: 1.To build up your immune system, its well worth taking some herbs for the immune system such as Immune Formula 3-4 weeks before going into hospital. 2. If possible take 2 capsules of Lapacho, also known as Pau D`Arco 3 times daily during your hospital stay. Scientists believe that Lapacho Pau D`Arco (lapacho) which is a bark used by the South American Indians, can help combat MRSA more effectively than any antibiotic If you are in the unfortunate position to have contracted MRSA, 3 capsules of Lapacho Article. 3 times daily may help.
